Whether you love to wear statement lipsticks or you not, you can’t deny that they are the height of fashion this autumn. You only need to look at Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne or even lipstick style icon of the moment – Candice off The Great British Bake Off – to see that darker, berry inspired autumn lips are the must-have this season.

Give them some lip!

Here are just a couple of our favourites out there at the moment.

Audacious autumn lips

Pouts at the ready!

sleek mulberry autumn lips

Sleek Make Up lip colour in Mulberry – £4.99

This lip colour will turn you into an instant vamp. It’s super dark and will take some time to get used to, especially if you don’t wear lipstick often. Great for a night out with your favourite LBD or play it casual with an oversized roll neck jumper on a cold day.

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Live Large – £17.00

Not quite as dark as the others, this gorgeous almost-purple lipstick will add some lovely warm colour to your lips, on even the coldest of days. Whether you can’t be bothered to put on a full face of make up, or are going out for drinks after work at the drop of a hat, just pop this on for instant work-to-party face in seconds!

Rimmel London The Only 1 lip colour in One of a Kind – £6.99

This one is a real show stopper with its gorgeous cranberry colour. It glides on like silk and stays put all night. We think this colour would look amazing on a brunette with smokey eyes. Get ready to make heads turn.

Mac lipstick in Punk Couture – £15.50

This one is not for everyone, but hear us out. Full-on purple lipstick is back from the ’90s this autumn, and is cooler than ever. We would keep any other make up fairly neutral and keep the wow-factor confined to the lips because with this shade you would be so far ‘out-there’ there’s no coming back.
