Adele confirms new album!

After a three-year break, Adele is back in the music limelight! In the past few days, the Twittersphere has been going absolutely crazy with the recent conformation of Adele’s forthcoming album, entitled ‘25’.

The news comes following speculation surrounding a cryptic message Adele posted on the eve of her 26th birthday in May this year, since then there has been a media frenzy about when the release of her latest album might be.

25 will follow suit of her previous two albums, 19 and 21, named after the age she penned them. Both albums gained widespread critical acclaim, each with their own individual merits and hit songs including Chasing Pavements and Rolling In The Deep. 21 managed to surpass the success of her début, earning the singer six Grammy Awards in 2012, to add to the two she received from her first album in 2008.

In early 2014, outside of her album success, Adele received an Academy Award as well as a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for her song Skyfall, written for the James Bond film of the same name.

Now in a happy relationship, and a mother of one, things seem to be going well in the life of Adele. This does lead one to question what the material of 25 will be about, it seems the fool in love in Cold Shoulder and the break up turmoil in Turning Tables are problems of the past. So what could be on the cards?

There are high expectations from both music critics and fans surrounding the release of 25, but we are sure Adele will be producing singles that will no doubt stay at the top of the charts for weeks on end!
