From Harry Potter to heartthrob! Former child star Matthew Lewis shows off his muscular torso in a new sexy shoot for Attitude magazine. The 25-year-old will no doubt be getting attention from female and male admirers alike with the snaps from his shirtless shoot. Matthew is pictured in just a pair of briefs whilst reclining on a bar stool in the popular men’s magazine shots. He is also pictured on the cover shot for June’s ‘swimwear and underwear special’, showing off his impressive six-pack.
The actor, formerly known as Neville Longbottom, spent ten years wearing a fat suit and prosthetics to play JK Rowling’s nerdy, but extremely lovable, Gryffindor student.
Similar to his co-stars, such as lead actors Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Matthew had to endure many red carpet appearances with braces and all of the adolescent awkwardness.
However, by the time of the arrival of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, the actor said people were beginning to notice he barely resembled his on-screen character.
On the red carpet at the world premiere of the film, Matthew made quite a big impact. In fact we can still remember Twitter nearly having a breakdown from all the swoon-related tweets!
Reflecting on the spectacle, Matthew told Attitude: “I was 21, I was like “yeah, this’ll be cool!” It was never meant to be a “hey everyone, look at me!” but it was nice to be able to go and be myself.”
“And then obviously a lot of attention focused on it, which I didn’t expect at all. I’ve never considered myself to be good-looking at all. Just average.”
Has he even seen himself in the mirror?!
We love a sexy transformation and we can’t help but compare Matthew’s to Calvin Harris’ Emporio Armani underwear campaign. Both men now look ABS-solutely incredible.
Keep your eyes peeled for Matthew, who is getting set to star in a new film role! He will play an uber-fit personal trainer in Me Before You, alongside Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Sam Claflin (Hunger Games) set for release next year.
