So hair it is, Merry Christmas!

Party hair is always a tricky one. Hair up, down, curly, straight, backcombed – the list goes on and on. So many options are available and all of them have their benefits. In case you need some inspiration, we love a cheeky plait crown and messy top knots are still a key trend too.

But how do you go that extra mile for perfect party hair this festive season? Here are a few helpful product ideas that will help you rock the Christmas get together this year.

Nouveau Knot Styling Kit

Label.m, £26

Rock the Nouveau Knot at the Christmas party with this great kit! This one includes label.m Dry Shampoo and Blow Out spray products, Hair-Up Brush, accessories and a simple step-by-step tutorial to enable you to achieve this popular look right in your own home. We’ve tried it out and it comes with amazing clips and bobby pins that will last for years of up-dos. They also have a Bardot Beehive kit too, so the fun doesn’t stop here!

Final Shine Spray

GHD, £9.95

Add the finishing touch to any hairstyle with this gorgeous shine spray. The scent is clean and the spray isn’t greasy or heavy on the hair. Just a light dusting will polish off any look.

Powder Pink Spray

Label.m, £9.95

Want to create a catwalk trend hairstyle without the commitment? This range of powder sprays are just what you need to add a splash of colour that, wait for it…. completely washes out! Layer up the colour for a more intense look or just a spray a small amount to create a pastel ombre look. Comes in Red, purple, blue and pink so go wild!

Kerastase Radiance Beautifying Oil

Kerastase, £36.50

This serum is fantastic. Put the tiniest bit on the end of your finger, rub into your hands then rub your hands lightly over the ends of your hair and prepare to be amazed by how soft and sleek it feels. Don’t overdo it and also keep away from the roots as it can build up quickly.  This will last years (ours is still only a quarter gone after two years…and it’s used A LOT).

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Pre-Shampoo Treatment

Philip Kingsley, £29

Rumored to have been Audrey Hepburn’s favourite hair product, this treatment works wonders for damaged hair in need of some TLC. Wet your hair then layer this on through the lengths and ends and leave for half an hour. Rinse it off, use your fave shampoo and conditioner and style as you like. We promise it’s worth it and you will see a difference straight away. People won’t be able to keep their eyes off your hair.
