London’s favourite cinematic pop-up experience is back with a unique Quentin Tarantino themed movie spectacular: The Last Chapel. Leave all expectations at the alter, because this one-of-a-kind film experience will blow your mind!
WHAT IS BACKYARD CINEMA?
Backyard Cinema all kicked off with one man and his love of films. Now the experience has grown all the way from Dominic’s very own backyard to one of London’s most recognised and sought after alternative cinema experiences.
What can you expect? Well, a roaming, theatrical, cinema that shows a wide selection of films in a variety of iconic, unusual and immersive locations both in and outdoors around London. It’s one of the capital’s best pop-ups, where you can watch one of your favourite films with great food, drinks and all your mates.
THE LAST CHAPEL
Backyard Cinema has been transformed into an abandoned chapel, deep in the Nevada desert. Picture glass windows, religious statues, eerie heavenly lighting, crosses and for the first time ever, some real-life acting has been incorporated into the experience, so you’re in for a treat.
Once you’re in the chapel, you’ll be allocated a very comfy beanbag chair and there’s a fully stocked bar at the back, which stays open throughout the film. So you can always grab a bag of popcorn midway through or a cheeky glass of prosecco.
The Last Chapel’s location couldn’t be better, too. It’s set in the heart of Mercato Metropolitano food market, which literally has any food you could possibly think of, and some great bars to wash it all down. We suggest you get to your showing a couple of hours early, so you can have a few drinks and tasty food before the Backyard experience.

The Last Chapel closes on the 28th May, but there are still tickets available for showings of True Romance, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. Get yours via the Backyard Cinema website.
Don’t worry if you miss out on Last Chapel tickets though, because Backyard Cinema will be back on the 9th June with their brand new cinema spectacular: Miami Beach, an indoor cinema experience with movies such as La La Land, Dirty Dancing, Drive, Grease and Back to the Future.
