The Perfect wedding venue: El Fenn

There’s no denying that planning a wedding is stressful; finding the perfect dress, choosing your bridesmaids, making a guest list. But one choice will have a major impact on the day: the venue. So, for an alternative wedding venue choice, we propose you head to Morocco and have your special day at El Fenn!

Located in the vibrant city of Marrakech, El Fenn is the ideal place to host a unique wedding experience. Ceremonies are typically held in the beautiful orange and lemon courtyard, the roof terrace is used for an unforgettable wedding breakfast with a view of the city and the party carries on afterwards with dancing on the terrace by the main swimming pool.

Your bespoke wedding will be in safe hands at El Fenn, and you can choose exactly how you want the setting to look. From transforming the pool area to have rugs and kilim-covered day beds (as seen in the picture above) to hiring belly dancers as part of the evening’s entertainment! Nothing is too elaborate, but if you wanted a more traditional wedding, the tree-lined setting is ideal too.

El Fenn typically runs as a boutique hotel, so couples can hire out the entire house for their guests. In total there are 28 bedrooms, 20 rooms and suites, 2 two-bedroom family suites in the main house and 4 in the private house two minutes’ walk from the main building. Therefore, it can accommodate up to 56 of your guests!

There is a minimum of a two-night stay for exclusive hires, but you will not have to worry about breakfast, as it is included in your stay.

Alongside helping you organise the event, the fantastic staff at El Fenn can also help you organise a jam-packed weekend of activities for your guests, ranging from quad biking to spa treatments and shopping tours!

If you need one more reason to persuade you, Marrakech was the perfect wedding destination for Poppy Delevingne, so it can be the perfect wedding destination for any Jane too!

For more pictures and information, head to the El Fenn website.
