5 Awesome Advent Calendars

It’s the perfect excuse to give yourself a daily treat in the run up to Christmas: an advent calendar. We all love a good ol’ chocolate one, but let’s be honest it’s hard to resist opening all the windows and devouring the lot on 1st December! So we’ve been having a look at some other options and there are some fab ones out there this year. Get one for yourself, drop a hint to a loved one, or – if you’re feeling particularly filled with festive spirit already – get one as a gift for someone else.

Here’s our top 5 pick of awesome advent calendars for 2015:

1. Disney Frozen & Star Wars Light-up Calendars, Kinnerton

Asda, £3.50

Perfect for little and big kids alike! Kinnerton have produced the world’s first light-up chocolate advent calendars. They come in two cool designs that we’re sure will be very popular with Disney fans – Frozen and Star Wars. The light-up design is a clever touch, and the chocolate comes with a nut safety promise and no artificial flavours.

2. Kerastase Luxury Hair Products Calendar

Lookfantastic, £66.65

If you’re feeling a bit more flush this festive season, splurge on this gorgeous Kerastase luxury advent calendar. Packed with hair treats, from travel size to full products, by Christmas day you’ll have smooth, swingy locks! It’s currently on sale so snap it up before 1st December.

3. Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar

Argos, £24.99

Ignore the ‘6-14 years’ instruction on the box – everyone loves a bit of lego, whatever their age! Open and build a new lego gift every day to create a Star Wars scene throughout December. Great fun.

4. Lindt Advent Calendar

Sainsbury’s, £6

Mmm delicious, creamy Lindt chcocolate every day for a month, you say? We’re sold! The grown-up take on the chocolate advent calendar includes a variety of yummy Lindt goodies, including truffles, chocolate drops and of course the infamous animal shapes.

5. Ciate Mini Mani Month

Asos, £39.20

A little pot of nail varnish every day to ensure your nails are on point throughout the festive season. Plus a full size pot for the big day in a seasonal shade. Currently in the Asos sale, so give your nails a treat this December.
