If you are looking for some serious sunglasses inspiration that won’t break the bank, then look no further. We have put together a few of our favourite styles and brands to show you that buying great sunglasses doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
Check out our top styles and picks.
We love the retro look that rounded sunglasses give. There are so many great pairs on the market at the momen. Whether you’re looking for full-blown John Lennon style, or something more subtle, you’ll be able to find the perfect fit. We adore these two pairs of ’60s inspired sunnies, you can find similar on ASOS. The most worn pair in our current stash are this pair of rounded tortoise-shell from IYÜ design with gold detailing.
The metallics style seems to be really popular at the moment. Wgether you prefer silver, gold or rose gold, they really help to jazz up a classic outfit. They look especially good dressed up with a
simple monochrome look. A really affordable pair are these silver/black mirror lensed shades from IYÜ designs. At just under £25, they beat Dior sunnies any day of the week! If you prefer gold try a pair like these gold-framed ones from Miss KG (pictured).
If you prefer a more classic style, then why not try some monochrome large rounded classics from French Connection. You can find a similar pair at Guess. We’re also a big fan of the cat-eye style at the moment, these tortoise-shell ones are from French Connection.
Lastly, if you want to inject a bit of fun into an outfit, why not try some fun and flirty sunglasses? The type of sunglasses that you wouldn’t necessarily wear everyday, which is why it’s good to find a cheaper pair for a festival or event. We adore this heart-shaped pair, or what about some pink sunglasses. These ones are from Miss KG and have gold lining on the sides. For some understated colour you could try a classic pair of shades with colourful lenses, like the blue toned ones pictured here, they’re from Grain de Malice Sunglasses and are only €14.99!
ASOS is a great place to look for all sorts of affordable brands, but their own designs are pretty awesome too. A good starting point to any online search. (But c’mon, when isn’t ASOS a starting point to the depths of online browsing…)
Miss KG are available at House of Fraser and offer a range of fun and playful designs around the £30 mark.
IYÜ design offer catchy, fashion-forward styles for all sorts of occasions.
Quay Australia have leaped into the sunglasses world and can now be found at over 2,000 retailers worldwide. Aussie-inspired, notoriously cool and affordable they are definitely worth checking out. Available on ASOS.
