Norwich Fashion Week

As the worldwide Fashion season starts to draw to a close we’ve been taking a look at which catwalk trends really caught our eyes and which ones we feel we could work on the high street. Right in time for the start of our very own and rather local Norwich Fashion Week!

Some of our fave trends this season were belted scarves at Burberry, fresh elegance at Jasper Conran, graphic knits at Issa and textured florals at Temperley London and we’ll be keeping a beady eye out for these trends on the Norwich Fashion Week catwalks.

So, in search of bringing our fave trends to our wardrobes, we trawled the womenswear rails at Jarrolds in Norwich to see what we could find to replicate and make them wearable for us. We were not disappointed…

1.Belted scarves – aka Burberry

This look was all about contrasting texture, pattern and layering! So have a little fun mixing things up, always remembering to cinch in your waist with a belt, tucking the scarf in of course! This works wonders with this coat from Hugo Boss (£330).

2.Fresh Elegance – aka Jasper Conran

Keeping it simple is key, in shape and pattern. Go for natural shades and add a pop of colour to keep it contemporary. Think classy and fresh as shown with this skirt and top from LK Bennett.

3.Textured florals – aka Temperley London

Temperley has always been synonymous with incredibly beautiful fabrics and textures and this year was on point. Choose textured, floral fabrics, with some panelling if you can and of course plenty of movement such as this great dress from Ted Baker (£209).

4.Graphic Knits – aka Issa

Be bold. Don’t be afraid to wear graphic pattern and wear it with pride just like this jumper from Olsen (£89)! Mix it up with tailored trousers of a contrasting pattern for added ‘edge’ and put on some heels to smarten it up.

So there are some of our fave trends from the season so far and we can’t wait to see what’s on the Norwich catwalks! Thank you to Jarrold in Norwich for allowing us to live out some of our catwalk dreams for the day! Remember to make these trends work for you, feel comfortable and wear them with a fashionista smile!
