Sandra Bullock Stars in the First Ocean’s 8 Film Trailer

Warner Bros. has just released the first trailer for Ocean’s 8, the next instalment of the awesome Ocean’s 11 series. Only rather than Clooney, Damon and Pitt, this time around we’re getting Bullock, Blanchett and Bonham Carter!

If you’ve watched Ocean’s 11, 12 or 13, you probably know the score by now; a crew of A-list actors team up to steel stuff from the bad guy. But rather than being headed by Danny Ocean (George Clooney), Ocean’s 8 crew will be led by his estranged sister, Debbie, played by the fabulous Sandra Bullock.

Her crew is packed full of female greats with Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina joining the party. Their objective? To pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s annual Met Gala and get back Debbie’s ex, played by Homeland’s Damian Lewis.

The trailer looks great, opening with Bullock in an orange prison jumpsuit at a parole hearing and promising to pursue “the simple life” if she’s released. There’s plenty of quips and the fact the heist takes place at the Met Gala means there’s a whole load of gorgeous costumes on show.

As well as the Bullock-led main crew, there’s also roles for Richard Armitage and James Corden, who we see at end of the trailer. It’s also been announced there’ll be a number of cameos, including… ready for it?… Dakota Fanning, Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian West, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Olivia Munn, Katie Holmes, Zayn Malik, Zac Posen, Adriana Lima and Serena Williams.

Directed by Gary Ross and produced by Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, Ocean’s 8 will be released in the UK on the 22nd June 2018. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
