Amazing Abandoned Places

Abandoned places. Mesmerising and surreal. An inspired backdrop for many a filmmaker whilst creating the latest post-apocalyptic movie. The thought of why exactly these places were just left with no turning back and what drove the people out is fascinating.

Whether it was depleting resources, natural disasters or man-made problems of epic proportions, these places continue to exist in a half-life. Not quite existing. Not quite not.

Across the globe there are many abandoned places which lay dormant and retain a eerie, beautiful quality which you can’t help but be drawn to. Although they seem like they come from a film set, they are very real.

When we saw these we had to share them with you. These are some of the most incredible.
