At the start of March this year, Kendall Jenner was named as the new face of Calvin Klein. Now we can reveal that photos have been released for her new CK Jeans ad campaign!
The Keeping up with the Kardashians reality starlet, has become the latest member of the #mycalvins family, modelling the limited edition #mycalvins denim series. She joins her good friend Justin Bieber who became a spokesman for Calvin Klein Jeans back in January.
We reckon Calvin Klein had been taking a sneak peek on Kendall’s Instagram, as she had been regularly showing her support for the label by posting pictures posing in her favourite CK undergarments.
Her recent shoot was styled by Melanie Ward in New York City and fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan took the effortlessly beautiful pictures of Kendall and her extremely handsome model colleague Simon Nessman.
Talking about the shoot, Kendall Jenner said: “Modelling for Calvin Klein Jeans is really a dream come true. I’ve grown up wearing the brand and seeing the iconic advertising in magazines and on billboards featuring some of the world’s top supermodels. To now be a part of that legacy is truly an honour.”
The collection boasts a sporty-chique style, consisting of a mixture of Calvin Klein jeans, logo tees and sweatshirts. There will also be unisex backpacks and hats, and CK favourites such as denim shorts and jackets. All items will be retailing from around £65 to £235.
Melisa Goldie, Chief Marketing Officer of Calvin Klein, Inc. discussed why Kendall was chosen as the latest CK model. She said: “Kendall is a modern beauty who brings her youthful spirit and edge to this special Calvin Klein Jeans campaign. Kendall’s powerful fan base and global reach will further amplify the current cultural conversation surrounding the Calvin Klein Jeans brand and highlight this exciting limited edition.”
The entire collection will debut at Selfridges on 15 April, as well as online. Alongside this, if you are a London local you’re in luck because the collection will be available from May 1 in the Calvin Klein Jeans Store on Regent Street.
