If you haven’t yet had the pleasure, we’d like to introduce you to Mr Henry Cavill.
Born in Jersey in 1983 he has gradually been paving his way to the A-list, and after many stints in more minor roles he has now been cast as our new, divine, Man of Steel, alongside Hollywood heavyweights Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
Previous credits include Tristan & Isolde in 2006, The Cold Light of Day in 2012 alongside the legend that is Bruce Willis and (as if we could forget) the Golden Globe and Emmy award winning TV series, The Tudors. Which, believe us, you need to buy the box set of if you haven’t seen it.
And in another turn of excitement Mr Cavill has been setting tongues wagging (ahem) after being eyed for the role of Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. All we can say on this is, yes…please.
Released on June 14th, we hope Henry takes on the iconic Superman with style and grace and does the role justice in all is lycra glory. Enjoy.
