Where: The Rynek
Krakow is the perfect city for a pre-Christmas break as it is very budget-friendly. The markets in Krakow are just as beautiful and romantic as others in Europe, but they wont leave such a dent on the wallet. Another plus is that usually they will be draped in snow during the festive season. The Rynek is filled with wooden stalls offering a variety of gifts and Polish produce.
New York City, USA

If you are lucky enough to be heading to New York this festive season there are lots of Christmas markets on offer. Our pick would be Union Square to give you a real taste of the Big Apple. Wander through holly lined aisles and pick out a unique Christmas present for a loved one.
Prague, Czech Republic

There’s no shortage of festive fun in Berlin, in fact there’s over 70 Christmas markets to choose from. Our pick would be the unique Klunkerkranich weekend market located on a rooftop which used to be a parking lot. Get a panoramic view of the city whilst browsing through the wonderful flea market stalls.
When: Nov 20- Jan 6, Daily 10am-7pm

Another city with a fairytale atmosphere, Tallinn Christmas market is one to be ticked off the bucket list.
