Multi-award winning mobile network giffgaff has produced a new campaign, sponsored by The 7th Chamber, featuring quirky and amusing videos to showcase their fantastic contract-less deals. Wave goodbye to expensive and restrictive contracts and say hello to mobile freedom!

giffgaff: contract-less mobile deals

The ‘Hey you’ campaign showcases the benefits of giffgaff’s no-contract, no-ties, pay-as-you go monthly bundle deals. Inspired by research from 1,000 young adults aged between 16-24, the campaign promotes the idea that there is an alternative way to get the phone deal you want and avoid lengthy contracts.

Launched on October 9, the month-long campaign kicked off with the release of five fantastic 10 second teaser videos. The quirky animated shorts upped the anti on phone contracts by focusing on the freedom giffgaff members can get when they are contract-free.

Our favourite short takes Janes through a brief history of flight ending in 2015, with Claire levitating off her sofa to show that she’s not tied down by a phone contract – it’s genius!

Watch Claire and friends get all floaty:

Mike Fairman, giffgaff CEO, commented that the campaign is:

Designed to remind everyone that contracts are not the only way. We’ve been voted the UK’s best mobile network by Which? for the last two years – which speaks volumes about our no contract approach. Our members tell us that giffgaff doesn’t make them feel tied down like a contract does, so we’ve brought that to life in the latest campaign.”

Alongside the shorts, giffgaff have also released a longer advert which translated the findings from their extensive research. Did you know that Janes are more likely than Joes to avoid entering into a longterm contract? Us girls are obviously more switched on!

The fab mobile deals on offer from giffgaff include goodybags (bundles) that vary in price. Ranging from £10-£18 a month, the goodybags include a mix of UK calls, text and internet and last for 30 days. It’s up to you if you set it to recur automatically or top it up manually each month – the decision is completely in your hands.

For Janes looking to swap to giffgaff, then now is the best time to move as they have recently updated all of their monthly goodybags to 4G with no extra cost.
