Panoramic Selfies: Rollei ePano
Whether you are a lover or hater of selfie sticks, there is no doubt that iconic German camera company Rollei have made it easier to take group pictures. Now they’re taking selfies to the next level with the ePano Selfie by providing 360 degree panoramic shots.
We love a selfie stick here at Janes, so we were overjoyed when Rollei let us test the ePano out!
The Rollei ePano Selfie is an attachable panorama head, enabling you to take 360 degree panoramic shots of your adventures. So when you get back home to show your pics to friends and family, they’ll feel like they were there too! It can be used in two ways depending on the type of shot you desire: either fixed to a selfie stick or as a rotating table stand by using its fold out legs.
Compatible with both smartphones and Actioncams, the ePano can last up to 3 hours when in continuous use or up to 5 hours on standby – pretty good staying power for your travels! The infrared remote control – which has a range of up to 5m – will allow you to perfectly capture every moment from all angles!
We found the remote very handy when taking pictures. As you can see from our shots below, it came into great use when taking panoramic selfies from a distance! The panoramic photo option on an iPhone is another plus and works hand-in-hand with the device.
The only slight downside for us is that the selfie stick attachment is sold separately to the ePano – and though this is stated on the side of the box, we were a little disappointed they don’t come as a pair.
Having said that though, we did love it! The ePano is ideal for travelling or taking to concerts to record your favourite bands, and we’re sure it is set to become the next must-have accessory.
