Continuing their commitment to the female market, Nike has open its first ever women’s only store in Europe on the King’s Road in swanky West London.

Nike Women, London

The King’s Road shop is only the third Nike Women to open in the entire world following successful trials in Shanghai and Newport Beach in Orange County, California, with Nike aiming to “inspire the women of London to reach their athletic potential.”

The London Women’s store occupies 207 square meters, offering the latest in women’s training gear from the famous Swoosh. Along with the usual Nike retail experience, including the latest goods and gait analysis (the study of running!), the West London shop will also be offering pant hemming and even bra fitting.

Interestingly, Nike Women will see the benefits of Nike’s commitment to increase a community ethos from their stores. Free weekly Nike+ Training Club classes as well as a Nike+ Run Club will be available to customers, so you can probably expect regular one-off events with a female focus to start happening there too.

“Our new King’s Road store is yet another example of our commitment to women to bring them the very best of Nike,” said Heidi O’Neill, VP & GM Nike Stores. “Our women’s business has never been stronger and our deep connections with women at retail are helping fuel this growth.”

In the store’s basement level, London-based illustrator and make-up artist, Isamaya French, has produced a piece of art that communicates the synergy of sport and style. There are also other lovely added touches that have been incorporated into the store’s design, like an alternative map of London that features Nike heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson.

We should also say we love the bespoke white bags with the gold foil Swoosh! The store is open now and is open seven days a week, just a 10 minute walk from Fulham Broadway. So get down to 33 King’s Road now!
