1235 DOUGHNUTS, Marylebone

These ingenious square doughnuts are made by Brad McDonald, the chef at Marylebone’s The Lockhart, and his wife Molly. They first started selling the tasty treats on Columbia Road market, but you can now get them from the restaurant too.

GLAZED AND CONFUSED, various locations

More than just an incredible name, the range of dense, doughy and rich doughnuts made by Glazed and Confused is pretty damn special.

Our personal highlights include rhubarb crumble and lemon curd. You’ll find them at varying cafés and coffee shops around London and there’s also free delivery in the Islington area.

RITA’S, Hackney

If you’re looking for a doughnut pudding, this Hackney bar has the perfect one. They refer to them as ‘beignets’ but we all know it’s just your run-of-the-mill doughnut. Large ones served with dulce de leche sauce. Make sure you leave enough room, as the tasty pud is very filling.

Find it: 175 Mare Street, E8 3RH
