Kate Middleton Speaks Out On Mental Health
In a rare move, Kate Middleton has recorded a short public video in support of the very first Children’s Mental Health Week for Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity she’s the Royal Patron of.
HRH The Duchess of Cambridge said, “Child’s mental health is just as important as their physical health and deserves the same quality of support.” “No one would feel embarrassed about seeking help for a child if they broke their arm; and we really should be equally ready to support a child coping with emotional difficulties.”
Kate is expecting her second child in April and made the short film for Place2Be. Children’s Mental Health Week takes places this week (16th – 22nd February 2015) and aims to highlight the struggles some young people face with a dedicated week of awareness raising.
