Celebrities rock the trouser suits every now and again, but 2015 has been filled with some stunning get ups. Now with award season in full swing, we have been inundated with a whole variety of trouser suit styles on the red carpet.
From simple all black, to spring-infused floral styles, check out some of our favourite trouser suits from this year…
We’ve always been big fans of Julia Roberts, but check out how incredible she looks in this Givenchy tux-collared suit style get-up at the Screen Actors Guild Awards back in January.
In our eyes, Jennifer Anniston can do no wrong, and her choice of outfit at the 2015 Critics Choice Awards proves our point. She wore a burgundy Gucci suit, opting to forego a blouse for a gold necklace, allowing for a sexy feminine slant on the style and finished off the look with a pair of satin Louboutins.
Amber Heard blended a tight-fitted black jacket with black flares at the London premiere of Mortdecai. Her hair was styled in tousled curls and her make up was simplistic with a touch of eyeliner and blusher, adding to the sophistication of the outfit.
The 2015 People’s Choice Awards was a favourite for the slick black trouser suit, Melissa Mccarthy and Ariel Winter both donned theirs, but our top pick of the night was red-haired beauty Bella Thorne who looked incredible in a Giorgio Armani tux which she paired with black sandals. Similar to Jen, she also went for the blouse-less look, showing a slight bit of midriff.
One of our favourite trouser suits of 2015 was at the 72nd Golden Globes. Whilst there were hundreds of glitzy dresses to feast our eyes on, all we could focus on was Lorde’s midriff-baring black trouser suit. We loved the idea of combining a black crop top with a trouser suit and by paring it with a beautiful chunky Neil Lane necklace, it was the perfect way to finish off the outfit.
Poppy Delevingne skips forward to her Spring/Summer wardrobe with this floral trouser suit at the Emilio Pucchi eyewear global launch during Paris Haute Couture week. We love how different it is and she looks incredible.
Sadly, no one donned a trouser suit for the BAFTAs this year, but lets not forget Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s matching tuxedos at the 2014 awards. Ange oozed sex appeal with her shirt unbuttoned paired with an open bow tie, finishing off the look with some sultry smokey eyes.
The 2015 Grammy’s on the other hand were all about the lady tux, Anna Kendrick went for a sexy Band of Outsiders black number, but our top pick came from the coolest Haim sister, Danielle (don’t hate us Este and Alana) who donned a Stella McCartney white suit.
