Tick Tock – The Watch Edit

Watch edit - Barbour TheWatchShop

Who can believe that it’s clocks-changing time already? It feels like only yesterday we were breaking our New Year’s Resolutions on the 2nd January and now, here we are on the cusp of April, with the clocks going forward 1 hour on Saturday, 26th March.

The clock change

Pros: Summer is on it’s way and the lighter evenings mean it’s time to look forward to alfresco dinners and after work cocktails in the sun.

Cons: It’s the annoying clock change where you lose an hour in bed. Not cool.

Clock change for Spring

Our watch edit

To celebrate the clock change and the lighter nights we have picked a few of our favourites for our watch edit… Just don’t forget to change them!

Barbour Unisex Leighton

watchshop.com, £95.00

One hot trend this spring is the simple ‘Boyfriend’ watch. Oversized and leaning towards masculine in style, they are the perfect bold accessory for any outfit, smart or casual. This one from Barbour is gorgeous with its matching face and soft leather strap. The domed glass gives it a super elegant look that will make anyone jealous. The Leighton collection comes in a choice of black or tan. We’re wearing the black one with spring print dresses and ankle boots, super-stylish.

Pink Flamingo Print Watch

New Look, £12.99

Feeling a bit quirky this spring? How about a slogan watch, or even better, a watch with a flamingo on the face! We love this fun watch which won’t break the bank. Wear with skinny jeans and an oversized t-shirt, for the ultimate “spring break” vibes.

Michael Kors Navy Steel Watch

Selfridges, currently on sale at £233

Want to make a statement with your timepiece? This navy number by Michael Kors is going to make your purse somewhat lighter, but it is so pretty and the interesting face will draw lots of compliments. This will be great in the autumn and winter too.

Casio Mini Pink Leather Digital Watch

ASOS, £40.00

Need. This. In. Life. NOW. How cute is this digital Casio watch? Retro and extra handy with a stopwatch, calendar and alarm built in. Who needs a smart watch with this baby in tow! It’s available in orange too. *adds to basket*

Henry London in Pimlico

Henry London, £89.95

This little classy watch is gorgeous if you are looking for something classic. Henry London names its collections after London boroughs and this white one is from the Pimlico collection. The face is so dinky at only 2.5cm in diameter, so it is perfect for an understated, everyday watch. Lots more colours are available including navy, purple and dark green.

That’s our top watch edit. Don’t forget to put yours forward an hour on Saturday night!
