People’s Choice Awards 2016: Best Looks
The stars were out in full force last night at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards and as always our eyes were on the red carpet fashion.
From LBD’s to monochrome dresses to jumpsuits galore, take a look at some of our favourite looks from this year’s event:
If there’s one person who can pull-off mint green dress, it’s Alison Brie. The Community/Mad Men star looked effortlessly elegant as she strolled down the red carpet. Her perfect silhouette had all of us fangirling here at Janes HQ.
When in doubt, opt for a LBD. The leggy look by Elie Saab paired with statement heels was one of our top favourite looks of the night. Lea is known for wearing slightly risqué looks on the red carpet, and we love that she was keeping true to her sultry and fun style at last night’s event.
Monochrome is a favourite look for most awards ceremonies and that’s because it’s always flawless, particularly when worn by the right person. Claire Danes looked both feminine and glamourous, whilst the plunging backline added a sexy dimension to the outfit.
When doesn’t Kate Hudson look absolutely stunning? White can be a difficult colour to pull-off and so can jumpsuits, but Kate dazzles in her ensemble. Paired with a simple white clutch and opting to forego a necklace, she was making all the right decisions last night.
The 50 Shades of Grey star opted for a shimmering Armani Prive for her outfit. Sometimes a maxi skirt paired with a crop top can look subpar, however she looked amazing collecting an award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress. She even suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction on stage, but laughed it off telling the crowd: “Not like you haven’t already seen my boobs!”
Another jumpsuit, another of our favourite outfits from the evening. The Game of Thrones star kept her ensemble stylish for the red carpet, opting to extenuate her make up with full eyeliner and smokey eyes.
Finally, a special mention goes out to Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick, who is somehow managing to get even more attractive with age…
