Having spent the past few weeks wandering around the beautiful city of Cork, taking in the sights, dancing on tables, and drinking copious amounts of cocktails, I stumbled across my new favourite hangout…SUAS Rooftop Bar.

SUAS Rooftop Bar

For those of you who haven’t been to Cork, here’s a few facts: it is second largest city in Ireland (with Dublin being the first) and it has one of the world’s largest natural habours: Cork Harbour.

Defined by its cultural attributes including: the Cork School of Music, the Crawford College of Art and Design, and University College Cork (ranked in the top 2% of universities worldwide) the vast numbers of students relish the endless amounts of eateries, pubs and bars.

One such drinking haven, SUAS Rooftop Bar, is very popular within the Cork social scene. Situated in the middle of the city, with stylish décor and a heated rooftop veranda, it’s almost always full of people enjoying a cocktail…or three.

The weekly setup changes over the year, but you can typically expect some of Cork’s finest DJ’s on Saturday and Sunday nights and on some weekdays cocktails are just €5- nothing short of a bargain!

Whether you’re a cocktail fan, or just want to get away from the busy city for a few hours, let SUAS be your rooftop remedy.
