It’s fast approaching the most wonderful time of year: Christmas! So, to get in the festive spirit, we have complied a list of seasonal things for Janes to do around the UK!

BACKYARD CINEMA: WINTER NIGHT GARDEN
When: 26 November – 6 December

Weave your way though a secret tunnel of trees into Backyard Cinema’s enchanted forest: ‘The Winter Night Garden’ and enjoy the ultimate cinema experience!
Choose between a range of films on offer, from proper Christmas films, to cult Christmas films, and even non-Christmas films for all you Scrooge’s out there. Make a whole evening out of it by indulging on tasty food and drink at the enchanted woodland bar before the showing.

Just about every city across the UK will have a festive Christmas market, so we have whittled the list down to a few of our favourites:
Chatsworth Estate (12 – 29 November)
Listen to live seasonal musical entertainment from brass bands to string quartets whilst you are shopping for the perfect present or enjoying some delicious food from the range of stalls.
Winchester (19 November – 22 December)
With over 100 attractive wooden chalets, lovingly selected for the quality of their products, Winchester has a lot to offer. Choose the perfect Christmas gift including seasonal food and drink, handmade British crafts, and unique gifts and decorations.
Manchester (14 November – 21 December)
The award-winning market will return to the heart of the city this year, with loads to look out for including mouth-watering international food and drinks and delicately crafted festive gifts.

Price: £50 per person
For a seasonal activity for seafood lovers, Billingsgate Seafood School and Champagne Lanson are running a fun-filled evening class. Guests will learn how to create simple canapés, whilst sipping on a glass of Champagne Lanson Black Label Brut.
Learn a new selection of recipes and the tricks and cheats, so regardless of budget or skill, your future Christmas party guests will love your delicious finger food!

BBC Good Food Festive Fayre
When: 4 -6 December
Where: Hampton Court Palace
Experience the first ever festive fayre in the stunning grounds of Hampton court Palace. There’s lots on offer including The Winter Kitchen, which will feature demonstrations from chefs and experts, held in the beautiful Tudor Kitchens.
Pick up a gift while you’re there from over 50 handpicked stalls selling seasonal food and drink.

Don your skates, grab your mates and head to Edinburgh’s wonderful ice rink.
Bath on Ice (20 November 2015 – 3 January 2016)
If Bath wasn’t already beautiful enough, it now has something extra to tempt visitors this Christmas; a huge outdoor ice rink!
The Ice Factor, York (21 November 2015 – 3 January 2016)
Definitely worth going just for the name. Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland would be a fantastic day out for the whole family.
