The electro pop goddess, Kyla La Grange, has returned to the music scene with her second studio album Cut Your Teeth and we cannot stop listening to it!

Kyla La Grange Cut your teeth

The London singer collaborated with a mixture of producers on the album including Jakwob (best known for remixing Ellie Goulding’s Under The Sheets), along with Daughter’s Igor Haefeli, and Simian Mobile Disco’s Jas Shaw. Their input has been integral to providing La Grange with a more developed sound, as well as co-creating a whole host of extremely catchy songs that will undoubtedly do well in the charts.

Unlike her first album, Ashes, La Grange has said that the production process was completely different this time around. It began with working from a single beat and letting the story of the song unfold around that. This can be clearly heard within a number of tracks on the record, including the first single released to promote the album, ‘Cut Your Teeth’, and the second single awaiting imminent release ‘The Knife’, which kicks off with some funky steel pans.

We are struggling to choose our favourite song from the record, it’s a toss up between ‘Never That Young’ feat, Jinnwoo and ‘Fly’, which will almost certainly be picked up and remixed into a club hit.
