A new trailer has arrived online for Mark Ruffalo’s latest project, Infinitely Polar Bear. In a complete shift from his Hulk role, this sensitive and candid drama sees Ruffalo as a man dealing with bi-polar while trying to keep his family intact.
Infinitely Polar Bear is the story of Cameron (Ruffalo), a husband and father who ditches his medication while struggling with his sanity and consequently loses his job in the process. His wife Maggie, played by the gorgeous Zoe Saldana gets an offer to head to Colombia Law School and leaves Cameron to deal with their two daughters Faith (Ashley Aufderheide) and Amelia (Imogene Wolodarsky).
Things are tough with the kids embarrassed by their father’s erratic behaviour but they soon start to bond even as Cameron continues to struggle with his manic depression.
This looks a real feel-good drama that has a lot to say about sufferers of mental health. We love Mark Ruffalo and can’t wait to see him alongside Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy) to see if Hulk and Gamora can live happily ever after.
Written and directed by Maya Forbes, Indefinitely Polar Bear also has J.J. Abrams aboard as a producer, which is a good sign. It’s set for release in the US in June and should be here sometime later in the year. Keep a look out and check out the trailer below!
