Cue screams of happiness! Bradley Cooper will be back on our screens this Autumn cooking up a storm as chef Adam Jones in upcoming American comedy film Burnt.

Burnt Teaser Trailer

Burnt sees Cooper, who has previously played a chef in the short-lived Kitchen Confidential TV series, back in the kitchen. He plays Adam Jones, a two-star Michelin chef who had everything – and then lost it all, his bad habits, bad manners and bad attitude were the recipe to his downfall.

In an attempt to jumpstart his career again, he heads home to London and enlists the help of the best culinary professionals, including Helene played by Sienna Miller, to help him gain that third star.

Sat in the directors chair for Burnt is John Wells, who is best known for his work on TV shows such as ER, Third Watch and West Wing. His filmography is much smaller, but it does boast two critically acclaimed films, August: Osage county and Love and Mercy, a stunning biopic about the Beach Boys. The screenplay was written by Steven Knight, who also wrote the script for one of our favourite films Dirty Pretty Things. So, it’s safe to say the film is in good hands.

If that hasn’t persuaded you, the supporting cast has some big names, including, Sienna Miller, Uma Thurman, Daniel Bruhl, Emma Thompson, Lily James, Matthew Rhys, Omar Sy, and Alicia Vikander. Oh and 50 Shades of Grey fans will be pleased to know Jamie Dornan also has a part, although sadly, we think he’ll be fully clothed for the duration.

The teaser trailer shows Cooper getting all hot and steamy in the kitchen. There isn’t too much indication as to what his character will be like, although in one scene where he gives a sous-chef a stern talking to, he seems a little Gordon Ramsay-esque. But, considering his food looks magnificent, we’d all be shouting ‘Yes Chef’ at him too.
