The Veuve Clicquot Widow Series 2017

Grab your diaries because the highly anticipated Veuve Clicquot Widow Series immersive art experience is back again this year and it’s set to be an Autumn must-see!

This October Carine Roitfeld, and her talented content team at CR Studio will be creating a one-of-a-kind art experience, that will no doubt attract art and fashion enthusiasts from all over the world.

She will follow in the footsteps of fashion photographer Nick Knight who curated the inaugural Veuve Clicquot Widow Series in 2015, and the super talented singer-songwriter FKA twigs who was the curator of last year’s event.

But what exactly is The Veuve Clicquot Widow Series? Well it pays homage to the revolutionary founder of the house, Madame Clicquot. She was a trailblazer of her time, taking over her late husband’s champagne business at the age of 27 and establishing it as one of the most popular brands of champagne around the world using her creative dexterity.

The annual Veuve Clicquot Widow Series is now a much-loved event on the London calendar and allows the company to seek seminal creatives who have a passion project they wish to bring to life mirroring the brilliance of Madame Clicquot.

Carine Roitfeld says of the partnership: “I’m a story teller, that’s my job as an editor and stylist. This opportunity is completely different, and now my team at CR Studio and I have the opportunity to tell a story with the viewer actually experiencing the story as we tell it. It’s not a party, it’s a truly immersive experience. It’s a different way of thinking!”

Tickets for the event will go on sale in September and additional details on the event will appear on the Veuve Clicquot Window Series website throughout the month.
