Directed by Rupert Goold, the incredible story comes to the stage and stars Gemma Arterton in the lead role of Rita O’Grady.

Gemma Arterton in Made in Dagenham

For those of you that know the story and are fans of the brilliant, award winning film that starred Sally Hawkins, you will be over the moon to hear it’s coming to the Adelphi theatre in November!

For those that don’t know it, it’s an utterly inspiring true story of hope, strength and determination that will leave you smiling from ear to ear!

In 1968, when Ford’s Dagenham car plant told it’s women employees that their pay grade would be dropped to unskilled, the women of Dagenham, lead by Rita went into battle against the might of Ford and the corruption of the union that was up posed to protect them.

Made in Dagenham shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.

Gemma Arterton said: “I’m beyond thrilled to be playing Rita O’Grady in Made in Dagenham. It’s an important story that I’m passionate about telling, and we intend to tell it with wit, warmth and, of course, a lot of singing and dancing in this production!”
