Yesterday, on the day before her USA Super Bowl performance, the ever-beautiful Beyonce surprised her fans and the music industry by dropping her new music video ‘Formation’.
Her first single release since 2014, Formation has all the stylish direction and hot dance moves we’d expect from the global superstar. The video even features her super-cute daughter, Blue Ivy.
Kicking off with Queen Bey crouching on top of a police car in a flooded town, the Formation music video quickly reminds us of Beyonce’s rock-hard attitude and incredible voice.
It’s been reported that she’ll be performing the new single at today’s Super Bowl Sunday, and the superstar was apparently heard rehearsing for the half-time show.
Never one to miss a commercial opportunity, Beyonce also updated her online store with ‘Formation’ merchandise, including a ‘Hot Sauce’ cap and sweatshirt bearing the slogan ‘I twirl on them haters’.
We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled today to see whether she does perform the new single at Super Bowl. But for now, we’ll take Beyonce’s own words from the video: “B**ch, I’m back”.
