What Your Boyfriend Really Wants For Christmas: Stocking Stuffers
We all know us Janes are pretty amazing when it comes to present-buying – and in fact, Christmas organisation in general! But with so many lists to keep track of at this time of year, we can all do with a helping hand. So we’ve sought help from our brother site, Average Joes, who have pulled together ideas to buy our partners for Christmas!
We’ve got five guides coming out over the next couple of weeks to help you solve your Christmas present dilemmas. Here’s David from Joes sharing some top tips on what your boyfriend really wants for Christmas when it comes to stuffing those stockings…
When it comes to buying your Joe something for Christmas, chances are you’ll walk around the shops and grab a load of miscellaneous bits and bobs to shove into his stocking. While you’re no definitely on the right lines, we could all use a little guidance. So here’s some stocking filler ideas we love this Christmas!
Quiet Rebellion Hidden Pattern Socks
Socks, right? They’re brilliant. And as we basically refuse to spend our hard earned cash on them during the year, Christmas is the time of year where our sock drawer gets a refit. That’s where you come in. And in that mould, we love the idea of these hidden patter socks by Quiet Rebellion. Perfect for the office, these quirky socks may seem serious when wearing shoes, but they have a secret twist below with their funky hidden patterns. We love them. And they’re available from £10 over at the Quiet Rebellion Website.
Ted Baker Au Fragrance
Much like a pair of socks, we rarely buy a new fragrance during the year. And if we do, we usually stick to what we know. So getting your Joe a new scent is always a great idea for a Christmas treat – and you get to choose the smell. We love this Au fragrance by Ted Baker. With notes of bergamot and clove, the scent was made for the modern day man who leads a busy lifestyle. Available from Ted Baker for £40.
Lord’s Cricket Turf Paperweight
If your Joe is anything like us, his love for cricket is going to be at fever pitch over the Christmas period – especially given The Ashes 4th Test begins on Boxing Day. So take a look at this awesome Turf Paperweight made from actual grass from Lord’s, often referred to as ‘The Home of Cricket’. A section of turf was cut from the outfield of the main ground at Lord’s in September 2002, and it’s forever been immortalised in a clear polyester resin, which contains a UV filter to stop fading. It’s available now over at the Lord’s Shop Website for £38.
Next Star Wars PJ Bottoms
Another thing your Joe is probably going to be obsessed with this Christmas is Star Wars. The Last Jedi is released in December and there are a ton of brilliant products around that he’ll love. But given it’s Christmas – which as we all know is a time for laziness – we love these PJ Bottoms from Next. Featuring silhouettes of some of Star Wars’ most iconic figures, these cuffed bottoms are as comfortable as a onesie, but twice as cool. They’re available for £19 over at the Next Website. A perfect stocking stuffer!
Charles Conrad Unisex Watch
But if you’re looking for a grander gesture, virtually all Joes love a new watch. They can be expensive but you don’t need to re-mortgage your house. We love this watch by Charles Conrad, for example. The sturdy stainless steel CC03019 timepiece features a contrasting slick black analogue display with rose gold Roman numerals and dials. It comes with 30m water resistance and is perfect for the office or a night on the town. It’s unisex as well, so you can steal it whenever you like! The Charles Conrad CC03019 Watch is available for £169 over at the Watches2U Website.
Protein World Supplements
If your Joe spends much of his day at the gym, we’d suggest you head over to the Protein World Website for stocking fillers. They have a whole load of supplements for every kind of Joe who wants aid his workout. We’re talking everything from Coconut Oils and Berry Blends to Seed Blends and Porridge. More than anything, they’ll probably give him some much needed post-Christmas motivation!
Whilst there are load of supplements out there, none look as good as Protein World, so if anything is going to take up space in the home, make sure it looks good!
Toad Diaries Personalised Notebook
Office supplies are always a great idea for stocking fillers. They’re small and cheap, and most importantly, they’re more useful than yo-yo. But rather than a boring old pencil sharpener or ruler, a personalised notebook makes things a little more special. We love this simple and elegant notebook from Toad Diaries. Available from £10.96 over at the Toad Diaries Website.
Salubrious Sauce Co.
Just like the founder of the Salubrious Sauce Co, us Joes love our good quality, home cooked food. So getting your Joe a mean bottle of sauce for his stocking may seem simple but it’ll be effective. Trust us. The Salubrious Sauce Co. are built on the love for three of the most quintessentially British dishes; The Great British cooked breakfast, the Sunday roast and the iconic fish & chips. As such, their three sauces – The Original British Breakfast Sauce, The Original Sunday Lunch Horseradish, and our favourite, The Original Chip Shop Curry Sauce – will hit the spot during any classic British meal. A three bottle build-your-own Salubrious Sauce Gift Box is available at the Salubrious Sauce Co. Website for £10.
