Theo James ‘Four’ us
When Divergent hot our screens we thought it would be worth a watch but have had a sneaking doubts about it being a slightly more rubbish version of the Hunger Games…then Theo James’ character, Four, came into view…and we had doubts no more!
Born in Oxfordshire in 1984, Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis (we’re glad he shortened it!) has played a number small parts for various TV dramas and films, the most notable the portrayal of Jed Harper in Bedlam and police commissioner, Walter William Clark in in Golden Boy. However, until now, he has remained relatively under the radar.
Being chosen to play the male lead of ‘Tobias Eaton (or ‘Four’) in the film adaptation of Veronica Roth’s best-selling book, Divergent has catapulted him out of the shadows and into the Hollywood light!
Sultry and protective yet kind and vulnerable all at the same time, Four is undoubtably alluring, and exceptionally well cast as James’ seemingly natural, mysterious nature shines through…and we have fallen for it hook, line and sinker!
Lucky for us James will be reprising his role as Tobias “Four” Eaton in the sequels to Divergent, in Insurgent in March 2015, and Allegiant in March 2016, and we will be in the front row!
Until then ladies…
