It’s recently been announced that the 25-year-old actress will front Chanel’s 2016 Eyes Collection in an exciting new project with the brand.
The first black and white images from the campaign show Stewart smouldering at the camera with her signature sultry stare.
She took to Twitter and Instagram to reveal the news about her latest high-profile gig and many fans commented with their excitement regarding her latest venture.
A statement from the beauty brand said: “With her modern, magnetic beauty, and free spirit, Stewart appears in a series of portraits embodying various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman.”
This is not the first time Stewart has been linked to Chanel. She has been a muse of creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s for years, participating in shoots and even walking in the Casino Royale–themed fashion show in 2015 with other favourites, including Cara Delevingne and Lily Rose Depp.
She has also stared in one of Karl Lagerfeld’s short films playing a volatile young actress taking on the role of Coco Chanel and he was mesmerised by her acting talents.
“She’s so good,” he gushed to Women’s Wear Daily. “I think she’s one of the greatest actors of her generation. She gives the right emotion and the right intensity immediately so it’s very easy to work with her, like it’s easy to work with Geraldine (Chaplin, her co-star in the short film).”
She will be joining celebs such as Gisele Bündchen, Keira Knightley and Blake Lively as a Chanel ambassador. The Twilight alum’s 2016 campaign, photographed by celeb photographer Mario Testino, is scheduled to debut in March.
