It’s that wonderful time of year when you need to decide what to go as for Halloween. Will you opt for a simple scary Frankenstein or take on a creepy film character? For those of you who want to take your costume to the next level, we are here to help with some make-up inspiration.
From creating a freaky stapled face to trying your hand at a sexy werewolf, we have complied a list of 5 *killer* looks for Halloween!
Let’s kick this off with a relatively simple one. If you don’t want to spend too much time on your Halloween makeup, but you’re still up for trying out some special FX, this is the perfect look.
Youtuber Bella Beauty first guides you through creating the Werewolf, first showing how to master her makeup look, with some great tips on contouring. Then she shows you how to make the slashes on her neck and chest. It’s actually not as difficult as it looks, so give it a try! All the products she uses are listed in the description too.
4. STAPLED ON FACE
If you’re feeling a little more adventurous with your FX and seriously want to scare your friends, give this look a go.
Youtuber Bonnie Corban is super talented at creating this design, and she’s also really easy to follow. So in about twenty minutes (with a lot of practice) you’ll be able to make this horrifying look come to life.
If you’re reluctant to try out loads of make up effects (we don’t blame you, they require a lot of practice!) then why not try this sexy Frankenstein makeup. There’s only some FX in this one, it’s mostly just simple colouring, so it shouldn’t take up too much prep.
2. HALF SKULL
Next up is a very popular choice for halloween make up, the skull look. Roxxsaurus guides you through the makeup, you’ll just need white and black face paint to re-create it. White contacts are a must-have to finish off the look to make it even creepier.
1. Tate Langdon
I can promise you that there will be at least 5 Harley Quinn’s at the Halloween party you’re attending. So why not be different from the crowd and go as Tate Langdon from American Horror Story. This makeup will of course require a lot of time and practice so make sure to do this before going for the final look.
It’s very similar to Roxxsaurus’ design, but with more attention to detail, so get practicing!
