Ombre hair colour is still popping up all over the catwalks and red carpets and is still a seriously hot trend for 2014, with no sign of slowing down! The new take for 2014? Gradual Ombre. Start the colour transition from higher up for a classier affair!

Hair Trend ~ The New Ombre

The ombre trend has been around for a while but it’s always been more dip-dye than gradual. This time around the transition should start from higher up and should be VERY gradual (no chocolate roots, bleached ends please ladies!) The darker colour should just sit around your roots and gently fade away.

On the flip side of a dingy dip-dye, this look is uber classy in a natural, ‘oh it just does this normally’ way!

There are some fab home kits to help you achieve the ombre look, however, this look needs to be bang on which can be very difficult! We recommend heading to your stylist and getting them to do the hard work for you!

Remember, stick to shades closer to your natural colouring and make it blend seamlessly!
