Essential items before voyaging around Asia for 4 months apart from Passport and Cashcard was what skincare and make up I was going to take with me. Last year, whilst living abroad for 6 months, I experienced seriously bad skin on my face. Everyone put it down to sunscreen and sweat, a sexy combination I think you’ll agree, and probably the layers of anti-spot, anti-blemish, anti-skin left products I was slapping on bi-hourly, not to mention all the cover up and concealer.

Garnier Ambre Solaire BB Cream

So for this trip I invested my trust into an old friend. Garnier Ambre Solaire. More specifically Garnier Ambre Solaire BB Cream Sun Protection High SPF 50. Two months in, daily application, absolute winner!

In nutshell:

  1. BB Cream so it covers and aids blemishes for an even skin tone
  2. Tinted so even pre tan it gives a sun kissed glow (also matches skin tone post tan)
  3. SPF 50 the correct coverage and protection for our delicate facial skin
  4. Vitamin E enriched always a bonus!

My favourite bits are that its light to wear and gives a Highbeam-glow to enhance those lovely facial features. It’ been perfect for day to day wear and evenings out. If you’re in constant midday heat, my advice would be to re-apply on the nose and forehead where those pesky UV rays hit us hardest. My spots have been non-existent and if I get a blemish its invisible to everyone else. Nothing worse than being in the sun with layers of cover-up on!

So ladies if natural beach beauty is your look this summer, invest!

Team it up with a Nivea Sun Protect SPF 30 lip salve for moisturised and kissable lips (no one likes cracked peckers!) and Lee Stafford Salt Spray for a sassy, beach babe barnet fair.

If you’re still not sold, trust me, it’s the BBest. Happy sunning x
