As Summer gradually comes to a close, we’re focusing on the positives – the excuse to invest in new some brand new beauty products to embrace the Autumn/Winter 2013 trends!
This Autumn is all about sumptuous berry hues, flawless matte finishes and grown-up glamour. These are our top tips for taking the trends from the catwalk to your dressing table.
Berry eyes
Seen everywhere from Gucci to Jason Wu, berry reds, purples and even bronze hues are going to be big this season. Layer over the eyelid and socket for maximum impact – and pair with a nude lip. Stained lips
If you try one new beauty product this autumn, make it lip stain. The key is a bold, matte lip – blot away any shine (and with it, any fears that ‘stain’ conjures up images of a joker-like smile). Again, berry tones are huge, as seen across Prada, Vera Wang and Lanvin. Try YSL Glossy Stain in Rouge Vintage £23.50 and pair with nude eyes. Matte skin

Berry nails

Eyeliner
